The Swivel screen portable DVD player by Polaroid is one of the best screened DVD/DC players available. It comes with a 7-inch screen, which can be viewed from side angles with the same clarity. The polaroid based player can be rotated with the screen for sharing the view with people sitting beside. The DVD player has the capability to play videos in the following formats - DVD Video, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD (Audio), CD-R, CD-RW. The file types apart from the above disc formats are JPEG and DivX.
The sound is Built-in dolby digital surround sound, apart from the earphones jack for the 3.5mm earphones when not playing it open. The player comes with a standard remote control, and provides a playback time without the power connection, for 2.5 hours. The front side of the DVD player contains of all the functioning keys of the videos and the media. The screen and display quality is quite appreciable.
The 7-inch screen is surrounded by a couple inches frame on all the sides, and is powered with a Li-ion battery, which gives it some extra time than other players for video output when compared to many other players.
