Our Review
Boss has been one of the best providers of the audio systems for cars, and the best sound and video quality is provided by the Boss players with a good LCD screen. The 7-inch widescreen TFT active matrix display provides a good and appreciable quality video output, with bright and crystal-like shiny surface of the screen. The resolution provided by the screen is 1152 x 234 pixels, and the brightness is around 450 NITS. The visibility is of wide-angle and off-axis visibility is also possible so that the single screen can be shared by passengers sitting little far from the screen. The front panel itself consists of the input for the audio and video, apart from the media control keys. A pedestal stand is included, and the menu is on-screen display. The player comes with a wireless remote control to give a better experience of viewing by resting well, rather than sitting close to the player to change the media.
The player is capable of playing all the basic audio and video formats, including the DVD, MPEG, AVI etc. for the video and the mp3 audio files. This makes the Boss Audio player one of the low-budget and basic media player for the cars.
