The Zenec ZC-MC172 player comes with a 7-inch TFT LCD monitor, and the screen is retractable and with a touch-screen interface. The player comes with a functionality to play all the major audio and video formats like CD, CD-R/RW, MP3, WMA, DVD, DVD+R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD-MP3, VCD, SVCD, JPEG and Picture CD in the CD/DVD combination drives. It includes the electronic and mechanical anti-shock system. The sound is through the in-built dolby digital decoder, and 4 35-watt amplifiers which produce sound of good intensity. The screen is of 16:9 resolution ratio and 1440 x 234 pixels. And the touchscreen interface has everything to control using the tip of the fingers, and it also has the iPod interface which would control the iPod media from the screen. There is a FM/AM tuner, and a dedicated memory for storing the best radio stations which you can switch on to directly. There are 48 stations, of which 36 FM and 12 AM. Apart from the touchscreen, there are keys to function the player which have the white backlit key illumination.
One of the best features is the security code usage, which can render the usage to only the owner of the player. The player contains 2 x RCA video outputs, 1 x RCA video input and 1 input for the rear view camera. There are Analog 4.1 RCA preamp line outputs, apart from the RCA Aux-in stereo. The OSD menu apart from the IR-powered remote control, both help in functioning of the player. The player is a all-in-one media entertainment system for cars, for the drivers who want to impress their passengers.
